The Photoshoot
For the first shoot with new gear back in July of 2020, Emily called up and suggested we shoot in her pool. And without fail, the weather decided to get in on the act. Now while it was not raining nor windy, we did have some fast moving clouds overhead which made it difficult to adjust for exposure. I did have a 3 stop Hoya 77mm ND filter to overcome for the bright sunlight, but I wound up taking it off since it was rendered useless once a cloud decided to linger in front of the sun.
Summer time, Pool time
Despite the challenges in shooting, Emily managed to effortlessly and perfectly illustrate what a pool time in the summer should look like.
