Pulled Pork Sandwich

The Challenge

As I endeavored to increase my culinary skills from the basics, I decided to try my hand at cooking meat the low and slow way which led me to being able to cook slow cooker pulled pork. You can find the recipe here. Delicious Pickled Red Onions

And it was that recipe that led me to making pulled pork sandwiches this year for the Fourth of July. Along with pulled pork, I also added in my pickled red onions which you can find the recipe by clicking the photo below

Coleslaw

I toasted brioche buns, and added coleslaw. Nothing fancy but I did use Duke’s Mayonaise, white vinegar, shredded cabbage, salt, and a small amount of shredded onion. All ingredients measured to taste and texture. Don’t hate me, but I forgot the pickles just this once!

And voila: Pulled pork sandwich.
